11:50 am - Done!
I am officially done for the semester! All my papers are done and have been turned in, I have given all my presentations, I don't have any homework! Now all I have left is to prepare for finals! I am so excited about that! Plus, I found out yesterday that my favorite class this semester is ordering pizza on the day of the final, we will wrap up any last minute discussions we think of, and then we are probably going to have a white elephant gift exchange! I love white elephant gift exchanges! I am so excited. Now if only it would be a little warmer so it was easier to walk to and from class. This morning was so bitterly cold. Normally, I really don't mind the fact that its about a 20 minute walk from my house to my classes, but today, I almost ran to class because it was so cold. It was early because I had to be at the classroom about half an hour earlier than normal today, so I was walking at about 8:15 this morning, but I didn't stop shivering until almost 9:00 and I arrived at my class a little before 8:30! I am still cold and I have been inside for over three hours! Oh winter, why do you have to be so brutal so quickly! Anyway, I'm done complaining about that for now. Now I am just going to enjoy the fact that I am done for the next few weeks!!!! Yay!!!!

12:19 pm
Hi everyone! So I was reading over my last post and decided I probably better update since my life is looking so much better these days! I finally have a job! I will be working at a daycare owned by a friend! I am so excited! I have worked with her before and I always had a lot of fun playing with all of the kids! :-D Plus, that will definitely help with the income thing! This past weekend was really good! On Friday night, I went with my family to a birthday party for my three year old cousin who is absolutely adorable! He is completely into superheros now, which meant for most of the party he was running around pretending he was flying! It was so funny! I also rode with Pat for the first time as he got his license on Friday!!! I can't believe I have a brother who is old enough to be driving!
On Saturday, I was a guestbook attendant for a friend who I have known since I was four. She was getting married to a guy she has been dating for almost 4 years now, so it was definitely not too early for them, but man, it was much harder for me than I thought it would be. I really enjoyed Tonya's wedding, but there is something different about going to the wedding of someone you grew up with! I was a mess! It was still a lot of fun, but it was really hard to face the idea that we are actually all grown up and she is starting her new life as a married woman. I also caught up with a high school friend at the wedding who is now engaged and is getting married next summer. It just seems so crazy to me that they are all getting married. My memories of them are mainly from high school when none of us were ready to be thinking about marriage, so it is just a little strange to think about!
After the wedding, we headed up to the lake for the rest of the weekend. It was nice and relaxing! I went to Muncie and picked Dan up on Sunday evening and he came and spent time with us the rest of the weekend! It was wonderful! We had several much needed conversations, as well as just some quality time together, which is kind of hard to find when you are living so far apart. I really understand what Steph went through this past year now, even though we are only an hour away and she and Tom were like 12!
I got my haircut on Friday so it was really fun to surprise everyone! I didn't tell anyone I was getting it cut, so it was hilarious to see all their faces when they saw it for the first time! I have to admit I was a little nervous for Dan to see it, because I know he loved my longer hair, and it is definitely not long at this point! Luckily, he made an exception for this haircut, so that was good! :-D
He came down on Wednesday for a visit and it was really fun! We ordered pizza with my brothers, went out and got the new bits-and-pieces milkshakes from Steak 'N' Shake (I have found a new favorite shake!) and then came back and watched Muppet Treasure Island with my brothers as well! It was fun to hang out with my family that evening, and we still had some time together after the movie. It was over way too quickly though! Oh well!
We are headed back to the lake this evening, so I better finish up quickly! I am really excited because it will be the first weekend that all of the families who own the cottage with us will be there! It should be a lot of fun! I will talk to you all later! I miss you all!!! :-D

I am officially done for the semester!!! I have got one final out of the way, two tomorrow, and then I am done until Friday! Today was my marriage final, and I did pretty well, though not as well as I would have done if I had studied for it. I didn't study for it though because I knew I would get better than a 45% and that was all I needed to retain an A and anything less would have earned me an A-, which is still not bad at all.
I love finals week! I have spent most of the afternoon playing a computer game, which is obviously wasting time, but the break was well appreciated. My mom may come up for lunch one day this week two, which will be wonderful!Eventually, I will have to start packing all my stuff up so that I don't have to worry about it this weekend, but I will get to that maybe on one of the days when I don't have any finals.
It is a little surreal that my CLP year is almost over. We have our last formation tonight, and we have our last dinner with Suzanne on Thursday followed by the last prayer of the year, which also happens to be mine! AHHHH! It seems like we just started CLP a little while ago, and yet we are just about finished! :-( I had my first CSUC meeting last night, which was a little scary, but I think we got a lot done for the first meeting, and I am really excited about the council for next year. I have a meeting with F.J. on Wednesday to talk about next year, and I do have quite a few things to talk to him about, which will be great. I am really excited to get next year started, though that means my year as a CLP intern is over. I have loved CLP, and though it is sad, I do think that it is about time for me to move on.
Patrick gets confirmed on Friday, and he will probably get his Driver's license within the next month too. That is so scary. I can't believe my baby brother is going to be a junior in high school and the true baby of the family is going to be a freshman! Sooo Crazy!!! I am getting so old, though not always quick enough. Only four months and seven days until I turn 21!
Well, I probably better go study for my finals tomorrow so that I don't have to worry about them later. Good luck on finals, everyone!

03:46 pm - Spring Break
I can't believe that Spring Break is almost over. I didn't get quite as much homework done as I should have, but that happens every single break. I did get a lot of homework done so that was good. It was fun to spend time with my family for part of this week, though I am definitely ready to be on my own again. I don't think that feeling comes from anything they do in particular, as much as I just feel like I don't have the freedom I have when I am away from home. It does make me wonder what it is going to be like when I go home this summer.
Sunny Texas was wonderful! It was such a shock for me to come back here where it was about fifty degrees and cloudy after several days of 90 degrees and sunshine. I am sure there are a lot of people who can definitely understand that feeling. I got sunburned! It was so exciting, though it is not necessarily comfortable. My mom and I didn't do a whole lot this time while we were down there because we did not have a vehicle so it was very relaxing and lazy. I think it was probably the exact type of trip I needed at this point in time.
It was tough this week though, because I felt really cut off from my everyday life, which is good, but I hate the feeling of being out of touch! I definitely had to deal with that all week, so I will be glad to be back at school again where I can talk to people on a daily basis again. Thank goodness I am almost there!

05:46 pm - My life is crazy!
So yesterday was another day of running around everywhere, and would you believe that it was a relatively normal day? I know, sometimes I don't know how a manage to fit everything in! I just have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so it was supposed to be a day where I had plenty of time to fit everything in. Wrong!!! Instead, I worked hard but was not as productive as I would have liked so by the time I actually had something going on yesterday afternoon, I still had a ton of homework that I hadn't even started. I don't know how I always manage that! Anyway, I went and had dinner with one of my friends from high school which was a lot of fun and delicious but by the time she finally finished eating, I was ready to come back because I knew I still had a lot to do. I got back just in time for prayer which was at 6:30 yesterday because my roommates all had strange schedules, then I had bible study planning which is always fun, but time consuming and I felt a little guilty because I really hadn't done too much to get ready for it. Bible study went pretty well, though a lot of the group was really quiet so at times it felt like we were pulling teeth to get them to talk and join in the discussion. Finally, after that, I got to watch the Olympics!!! which I had been excited about all day, and because I was so caught up in them, I never did do the homework. It ended up being a late night again because there was a whole group of people watching with me, and then Dan stayed over after they ended, and didn't leave until like 1:30. I don't know how many more late nights I am going to be able to manage. Today has been pretty normal as well, though I did find out that I am like one of three people in one of my classes that doesn't have to rewrite the essay they did on the test because he liked my answer! I was thoroughly excited. I also got the majority of the books I am going to need for my thesis, which is really exciting because at least now I have them so I can at least have the possibility of looking them over and getting started! We are also going to swing dance tonight at Time Out and I am so excited about it! Yay for dancing! Anyway, I have to go finish getting ready for rehearsal tonight, so I will talk to you later!

04:33 pm - What a week!
Man, am I tired, and this week is just barely half over. Is it ever going to slow down? I feel like I am never going to catch a break this week and we have retreat this weekend! I am not sure how I will make it through it this weekend, especially since it is going to be jam packed full of things to do. This week has been really great though, so I really have no room to complain. The concert on Sunday night was amazing!! It is so funny that I didn't really learn to like country until the end of last school year, and now the favorite concerts I have been to were all country. Who could have seen that one coming?
Jackie and I had to run back for prayer that night, but we did yoga when we got back which was exactly what I needed, then Dan and I just visited for a couple of hours, which was really fun. It made it a late night, but I think we both needed some time together, so it was worth it.
We talked about the love languages in Small Faith Group (SFG) on Monday night, which was so funny because Dan was reading the quiz, but he was going back and forth between the female version and the male version, so at times he was talking about his husband which was interesting. My results on that quiz have changed since the last time I took it. It was really interesting to see how that worked out. I can definitely see a change in how I feel love, especially since I am now in a relationship, whereas before I wasn't. Then we made valentines in our formation which was really fun. After formation and prayer, there were a lot of people who just hung out on Monday night, so it was really relaxing night too, though another late one.
Tuesday started out kind of rough, with a quiz that I wasn't especially prepared for and a study session that I was supposed to go to in the evening, but when I got back from class, my study session had been cancelled and my mom called to invite me to go out to dinner with my family last night!!! I was so excited, especially since Dan was invited to join us and when he heard, he rearranged his schedule so he could come! It was so fun and the food was delicious, though the service was kind of terrible, but that didn't really matter. Then after dinner and after his meeting, we just hung out and watched the Winter Olympics together and he gave me a homemade Valentine and a book called The 50 Things That Really Matter. It is really cute book and it was so sweet. I have been so lucky this week, in that though we have both been crazy, we have actually spent a lot of time together. I am getting spoiled though because I know that won't always be the case. Anyway, he was here until about 1:30, so I still didn't get much sleep, but it was so worth it. I just hope I can break that pattern before Friday!

Ok, so apparently I like writing really long posts! I think this week has just been too jam packed for me not to have a lot to write about!

03:58 pm - What a weekend!
Its hard to believe that it is Sunday afternoon already. Last week, the weekend seem to inch closer and closer, and now that it is here, it has just flown by! I think I need a break from all these weekends like this. On Friday, we had our annual Parish Gala, which I have been looking forward to for weeks. I love getting dressed up and having an excuse to act silly and dance without caring what I look like. I mean, I dance around, acting silly a lot, but it was really nice to actually have a reason for doing so! Anyway, I finally got of of class and desk hour at around four so I had to run around all afternoon trying to get ready for this dance, which was quite an interesting feat, especially since all four of my roommates and Suzanne were all getting ready in the same area at the same time! I'm sure we would have scared people away if anyone outside of the group had seen us all running around like chickens with our heads cut off. Michelle got here a little late to do my hair for the dance because her hair took so long to do, so that was a little stressful, but it was alright because we still got finished in plenty of time. After all of that, the evening seemed really quiet and smooth, though we were all dancing around and hanging out with people. I really enjoyed the time with all my friends, and Dan (that goes without saying). My legs have been sore for the rest of the weekend from all of the bouncing around and dancing we were doing. It was well worth it though.
I took a day of much needed rest on Saturday, and basically did nothing productive at all, other than getting like 700 new songs from David (I am so excited) and going grocery shopping with Dan. I finally have food! I am so excited about that if you couldn't tell. Anyway, the best part of the day was definitely the evening. Dan hung out after 5:30 mass last night and we made dinner together, then we watched the Olympics (one of my favorite sporting events ever) then we went over to his place and watched a movie and just spent time together. I didn't get home until about 3:30 this morning, but the lack of sleep was well worth it.
Even though I am going on about 5 hours of sleep last night, my busy weekend still isn't over. Jackie and I have tickets to the Keith Urban concert tonight!!! I have been looking forward to it for weeks and we are going to have so much fun! We are also going out to dinner before the concert. As you can see, I am super pumped about it. I hope this week isn't too crazy so I can recover in time for another crazy weekend next week.
(Wow, this post was a lot longer than I thought it would be. Oh well, at least it is now caught up!)

03:07 pm - I can't believe it.
I can't believe I gave in and actually started one of these. How do I get sucked into these things? I really have no clue, but once again, I have given into peer pressure and joined another site that will give me an excuse to procrastinate. Oh well!
There isn't a whole lot of exciting things going on in my life at this point, but I am enjoying almost every minute of it (with the exceptions of cleaning and losing things)I am so excited for the Gala tomorrow night. I just wish tomorrow would hurry up and get here already, so that I wouldn't have to worry about my test tomorrow, or wonder how I will get anything done.
It is so weird around here right now, because they are in the process of making decisions about CLP for next year. FJ and Suzanne are meeting about it today, and it just feels so strange to be sitting on the other side of the process. It seems like it was not very long ago that I was awaiting my letter telling me I was going to be in CLP this year, and now my year is half over and they are making plans for the next group. It is kind of sad, though I wouldn't trade this year for anything. Anyway, I have to get back to work now, but this was a good way to procrastinate for a little while!
